Five Sons Farm
Five Sons Farm began with a husband, wife and two small children, growing a couple of tomato plants in the tiny, back yard of a suburban area, dreaming together about raising their food and family away from the hustle of a city life. Fast forward three years, the couple had the farm, and were raising sheep and chickens. They had also added another son to the family. Two more years, and two more sons later, they decided to make their dream happen. The husband left the career he’d had for well over a decade, and Five Sons Farm was officially born.
A dream come to life. A hope for better food for their children and anyone else who shares their values on Regenerative Agriculture, grass fed, grass finished beef, pasture raised pork and poultry fed only non-GMO feeds, with no additional hormones or antibiotics. Animals raised in a setting where they’re allowed to act on their natural instincts. Five Sons Farm. Farming. Done Right.
Our Mission
The mission is simple. Raise animals in a way that heals the land, and allows animals to experience what they would in a setting outside of industrial agriculture.
A cow eats what it would in nature…grass. No grain, or feed lot confinement. Our pigs will also be where you find them in nature, the woods, and poultry is raised under the sun and on pasture, free to choose.
We see that it provides a better quality of life and believe it produces a more nutrient dense, superior product that we can provide to our family and yours.
Our Vision
Here at Five Sons Farm, we see rich soil, green pastures and animals living in harmony with nature.
Our vision includes helping all farms transition away from industrial, monoculture farming. We dream about our farm being multi-generational and providing real food to customers, family and friends for years to come.
Full time operations launched in 2019, and our grass fed, grass finished beef operation launches in Spring, 2020. All of the changes are exciting and we hope you’ll share our dream.
