Grass Fed Lamb

Why Choose Five Sons Farm Grass Fed Lamb?

When a customer buys grass fed lamb from Five Sons Farm, it means grass fed and grass finished.

No artificial hormones or antibiotics.  So you don’t have to wonder what was put into or onto the meat you feed yourself, or your family.  Our sheep here are raised from start to finish the way nature intended, with clean water, and green pastures.  Raising sheep on a grass based, holistic system takes more time, but to us and our customers, the differences are worth the wait.  Like all our farm animals, sheep are used in a rotational grazing in junction with our chickens on the pasture.  This way we improve the soil.  We’re currently developing a very hands on relationship with a select processor to make sure our grass fed lamb receive the treatment they deserve from start to finish with almost no waste from the processing.

For those that do not know, we did sell our flock in April of ’23. This was specifically so that we’d be able to accurately gauge our stocking density for the Jersey cows in ’23-’24.  It is currently part of our plan to have a smaller flock return in the summer of 2026, and allow them to graze with our beef cattle.  We thank all customers for their patience as the Five Sons Farm continues to grow, and adjust to the market demands.

Please feel free to follow along on all of our Social Media as our flock and farm grow.
